BIOGUARD

Bioguard is a wound dressing based on our trademark Nimbus technology. These biodegradable and nontoxic wound care solutions are found to eliminate even highly pernicious pathogens. The active ingredient in Bioguard has the property that bacteria cannot develop resistance, leading to a dressing that is safe for long term use. These products, manufactured by Medline, are commercially available on Amazon and other platforms.

DriGo-HP

DriGo-HP is a skinfold management textile in the form of an antimicrobial wicking sheet. DriGo-HP uses an Antimicrobial technology developed by QMT known as Stay-Fresh, which is a platform technology that sequesters hydrogen peroxide in a solid matrix particulate to provide durable antimicrobial efficacy. Stay-Fresh works through a mechanism involving disruption of cell walls and oxidative dissolution of organelles. The end products of the hydrogen peroxide chemistry are water and oxygen, so there are no toxicity concerns. DriGo-HP is highly effective against common pathogens of public health interest and has been proven to have greater than 99.99% effective at eliminating pathogens such as MRSA, pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. coli, and SARS. DriGo-HP's ultra-smooth fabric is soft to the touch and removes moisture from the skin's surface.

Antimicrobial Eyedrop Containers

QuickMed has expertise in developing and implementing sterilization and preservative solutions. Eyedrop containers and fluid are an environment where bacteria tend to grow, and common preservatives are toxic and detrimental to occular healing. To solve this problem, we have designed and tested an eyedrop bottle insert using our Nimbus antimicrobial technology. This device eliminates the need for typical eyedrop solution preservatives, removing their harmful effects.

Stay-Fresh Textiles

Stay-Fresh is integrated into numerous products for the end user, including medical scrubs, linens and towels, airplane seats, and clothing items such as socks, underwear and t-shirts. Stay-Fresh textiles remain effective antimicrobial agents even after 75+ laundering cycles, outperforming most other similar products on the market.

Stay-Fresh Paints

Paints and coatings for walls, floors and other surfaces can integrate Stay-Fresh to provide antimicrobial surfaces. Used as an additive, Stay-Fresh reduces the need for cleaning products that are harmful to the environment and individuals. The Stay Fresh paint technology is being developed with support from NSF.
